The Vine Hill PTA fully funds Life Lab, art, music, yard duties, supports instructional assistants and more at Vine Hill Elementary School which is part of the ninth lowest funded district in the state of California. During distance learning we've supported those programs while also accommodating pandemic-specific needs such as helping our teachers transition to this brand new world of teaching through technology. Teachers have been able to use PTA funds to purchase monitors, document cameras, wireless keyboards, laptop stands, etc. to help facilitate instruction. Additionally, teachers have provided take-home supplies for students using their PTA donation funds.

We're very grateful to the sponsors, businesses and community members who have rallied with their donations. We continue to fundraise for the 21/22 school year so we can offer enrichment programs to the students and support the staff in the future. The coming years may continue to look and feel differently than what we have been used to and we want to be in a position to help where it's needed. We understand that there has been a lot asked of this community between COVID-19, distance learning, power outages, the wildfires and fear of mudslides. There are a lot of important causes that need funding and we just ask that the Vine Hill PTA be in consideration. Every dollar counts.
